Quick Post

No, I have not died... We've just been really busy with the wedding AND making sure we workout frequently.

And yes, I am still hard at work trying to burn off my extra adipose layers...

Unfortunately, my weight is still stuck in the 242 to 244 range in spite of eating and exercise efforts. I feel great and look better, but there's still more body fat to trim before the wedding.

Coming soon, I will be changing to an even more lean diet, richer in fruits and vegetables, and lean lean lean protein. Plus lots of Cardio. We will probably be cutting out some of the muscle stuff for a while to help work on burning off the fat.

Thanks everyone for all your support, encouragement, and enthusiasm. Sorry I have not been staying on top of this. Expect more in the days to come, and hopefully less (if you know what I mean).

61 days to go...

Scary fast metabolism today! I was constantly eating my lunch throughout the day, and threw in an extra granola bar to hold me over for dinner.

I managed to take care of a lot of wedding stuff today. And we got our reservation at The Beach House in Kauai, for a nice sunset dinner on our honeymoon. Tomorrow I will need to call Gaylord's to make the reservations for the Luau.

Weight: 244.4
Exercise: 20 minutes of Cardio - 15 minute ab workout

Calories: 1191 on posting, but I plan on eating more - it's still early...

62 days until the wedding

Unfortunately, I've been very behind since Memorial Day. We've still been exercising, but the calorie counts and the blogging has been behind. It hasn't been bad though. My weight has settled between 243 and 245, which is good because I don't think I will be gaining back any of the weight I've lost any time soon.

I have already started picking up the calorie counts again today.


Weight: 244.4
Exercise: Chest and Back - and a little swimming at the pool

Calories: about 1750 - estimated because I didn't have the calories for some of the foods I ate.

68 days to go

Almost less than 2 months away!

Hello! Sorry I fell behind. Last week was really crazy! First we came back from Spokane on Memorial day. Then, on Monday night, I worked a crazy shift : 8:00 pm to 5:00 am... the graveyard! It wasn't too bad, and I got the day off and some serious brownie points at work the next day for helping save the team at work.

I spent most of last week recovering, however, we still got at least 2 days of cardio in.

I'll go ahead and fill you in on today, sans the food info.

Weight: 244.0 - I'm a little up, but not to worry!
Exercise: Some cardio on the elliptical this morning - 30 minutes at level 5

81 days ... and hunting bears!

I almost forgot to post today because I was too busy hunting bears! That's right, I have an addiction tracking and hunting big game in my most recent adventures in the video game, Red Dead Redemption! That game is an absolute blast and has been a lot of fun to play and wind down in the evening. Nothing like time traveling 100 years in the past to the times of Manifest Destiny, and duels in the new West of Texas/Mexico area. The game is amazing!

82 days until the wedding and I'm behind on posting!

So, we had a fun weekend after our rest week. And by fun, I mean lazy and pigging out on some greasy food! To celebrate 25 days into my diet and exercise, I went a little crazy and got some of my old favorites. First, I went to Tats with my coworkers for lunch on Friday. I DEVOURED a foot long Philly Cheesesteak, with onions, peppers, and gooey pepperjack cheese! It was heavenly, and refreshing, and of course the BEST Philly Cheesesteak sandwich in Seattle... In fact I was so full from this monster, that I could only eat salad and chips and dip for dinner that night. Then on Saturday, Sam and I ordered an Extra Large Pizza from Papa John's (our favorite) I nearly ate half the pizza and 2 breadsticks... And I almost threw up because we ate so much food! Shockingly, I stilled weighted 243.8 on Sunday! I was thinking I'd tip the scale by 5 pounds, but I guess my metabolism knows how to work.

It was a landmark weekend in my diet, and I am looking forward to day 50 on my endeavor towards Slimville... What should I have when the day 50 celebration comes around???
